Communicating with Hubs

Updated: Mar 6

Warning: this is some true shit. Stop reading if you live in denial. Sometimes it's ok to feel alone in your marriage or relationship. We're all human. People are not going to work in sync everyday all minutes ⏱of the day.

The most important thing to remember is to communicate with your spouse. I used to believe that communication can be done in any way, phone, person, text, facebook, email etc. Untill I realized my husband and I totally SUCKED at communicating via text 📱 or through any digital platform.

Alright let’s use our crazy brains and think about this 🧐. How can a text message have tone? 🧠Exactly. 🤯

What seems like a light hearted AWWWWWW text could completely be interpreted as a DAMNIT ASSHOLE ruin a day/night kinda text, it’s all about interpretation.

Communicate in person. Read your spouses facial expressions and body language. It'll be easier for you to navigate through the conversation. You'll thank me later. 🤪

Real life shit here… my husband and I have been married for 6 years, together for 9 years, and communicating for 3 years. It wasn’t untill we both matured, grew up alittle bit and really started to see life going by that we started to communicate. Everyone can talk but not very many communicate.

Communicate definition: share or exchange information, news, or ideas.

Talk definition: speak in order to give information or express ideas or feelings; converse or communicate by spoken words.
